Attention BJSHS families:
BJSHS will be offering ala carte purchases during lunch starting August 30th. If you wish for your child to purchase ala carte items, they “must” have money in their lunch account as no charging will be permitted and “no money” will be taken at school. Please double-check their account from time to time to be sure there is sufficient money in the account for purchases.
Lunches are still free. This is just an option for the students to purchase extra ala carte items.

NJHS will be having its first meeting on August 31st at 7:30 a.m. in the Choir Room 141-A. If you were inducted into NJHS last May, please join us for this informational/planning meeting. If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Lehman in the choir room.
We will do our first Bruin Robot Team meeting/practice this Thursday from 3-4 pm, in room 100. If you are interested but cannot make it, please contact Mrs Gallatin.

(1 of 2) Any male in the high school from grades 9-12 interested in participating in the boys' basketball program this year needs to meet in the Sutton Center this Thursday (August 26th) at 7:45 am for a short meeting to discuss pre-season basketball expectations.
Boys soccer practice will take place from 3:30-4:30pm tonight. The boys will practice with the girls on the girls practice field. Also, the varsity boys soccer match at Eastern tomorrow has been postponed. We hope to make it up later in the season.
Reminder for all student drivers- when arriving to and leaving from the school each day, you are to enter and exit the north drive. No student drivers should be on the access road before or after school.
Monday, August 23 anyone interested in wrestling for BHS should see Coach Garringer during their lunch mode. Please plan to go to the athletic office at that time to pick up your TEAM calendar and other pertinent information.

Junie B. Jones Auditions are Monday, August 23 and Tuesday, August 24th in the choir room starting at 3:30. Roles and Script Sides are outside of the theater. Please prepare a short song for your audition. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Lehman.

BCS is on a 2 hour delay today (8/18/21) because of fog. The students were emailed the schedule this morning.

(2 of 2) All vehicles must also be registered with the front office beforehand; otherwise, there will be an additional $15 charge. The deadline for car registration is Friday, August 20th. Forms must be returned to the front office before the Labor Day holiday.
(1 of 2) Any senior interested in customizing their own parking space in the designated student parking lot should pick up a form in the front office. The fee is $25, and the money must accompany the completed form.
Join BJSHS Yearbook Club!!! Yearbook Club is having a callout meeting Thursday, August 19th, after school. Please meet in Mrs. Newlin's room (234) at 3:10 pm. The meeting won't last too long, so make sure you have a ride! OPEN TO ALL GRADES 7-12!!!
