In compliance with Erin's Law, Blackford County Schools will be hosting a curriculum from Childhood Victories, Inc., called "Be Seen and Heard." All kindergarten through twelve grade students will have the opportunity to hear speaker Victor Pacini deliver an age-appropriate, safe, and engaging body safety message. We encourage all parents and guardians to attend Parent Night with Victor Pacini where he will give an overview of the program and answer any questions. Parents' night will be Monday, August 31 at 5:30pm located in the BJSHS theater room. All kindergarten through twelve grade parents and guardians are welcome to attend.

Hello BIS Families: Just a reminder breakfast is served from 7:30-7:55. If your child arrives after 7:55 breakfast will be available. Classroom instruction begins promptly at 8:00 so if your child is not in their classroom they will be tardy. Thank you.

It's been a day of "walking" at Blackford County Schools! Our BJSHS seniors walked in their caps and gowns at both BIS and BPS. We love that they are inspiring our younger students in the district to look forward to THEIR senior year! Way to go, Class of 2026!
