BJSHS Blood Drive - Wednesday, November 12

Our talented BJSHS artists will be celebrating their work this evening during the Arts Place Paint Out on the Square Open House & Awards Ceremony. Students in Mrs. Sydney Walter's art class studied Plein Air painting and then began their own work outside using the Hartford City square as the subject.
Tonight's reception at Arts Place will include an opportunity to view student work at 5:30 p.m. and an awards presentation, which begins at 6:30 p.m. There will be live music by Mr. Doug Hunt, played on handmade guitars.
Come out and support our outstanding arts program and our local Arts Place!

College and Career Fair - November 13, 2025
BCS has partnered with Arts Place to have a Latchkey Art Club. According to BPS Assistant Principal Sarah Price, "Students in Latchkey may participate free of charge. They spend an hour each month with the (amazing) instructor, Sydney Walter, art teacher at BJSHS. Thursday was our first session and students loved it!"
