We have some very egg-citing news in the 3rd grade at BIS! Mrs. Carma Reidy's and Mrs. Kari Crouse's classes are on Day 6 of our Chick Embryology program. With the help of Kyli Penrod from the Blackford 4H/Purdue Extension office, we candled our eggs for the first time today. Ten are developing in Mrs. Crouse's class, and Mrs. Reidy has 9 showing signs of development! We are expecting them to hatch around May 8th, and can't wait for the new arrivals at BIS!
